I'm kind of surprised this didn't come up in the thread earlier, but I'll add it here in case anyone had the same idea as me.
Originally, I was hoping that the drain affect for Aran could be activated by summons. What BM wouldn't love a Phoenix or E Puppet attack activating drain while running around seduced?
Based on my testing though, summon attacks don't count...
When I get bored I'll test on my Mercedes to make sure it isn't just certain summons.
On a side note, anyone care to critique my card sets?
Set 1: BM SS, MM S, Merc S
I'll eventually get the MM and Merc to S. I know the BM affect sucks, but I'm not getting any non-archers to 200.
Individual Bonuses: 3% crit + 4% cd reduction + 8% acc (lols...)
Unique Set Bonus: 3% damage to FA
S Rank Bonus: +700 HP, +700 MP, +3 ATK, +3 M.ATK, +3% damage to bosses
Set 2 (pure damage): Angelic Buster S, Mechanic S, Jett S
These are just mules and could easily be interchanged. I know Jett has a crappy bonus, but I'm not going to make a Bucc just for the piddly damage it adds. At least I won't have to cast Phoenix and E Puppet as often.

Set 3 (survivability/anti-sed): BaM S, DS S, DrK S

My logic:
BM is my main character so I'm strictly think about it in terms of damage/survivability.
I'll be getting all 3 archers to 200 eventually just because I enjoy playing them. They are the only character I'm likely to ever hit 200 with so I'm keeping them for the eventual SS bonus. I really hope there's a Nova archer I can replace my BM with...
Assuming I can eventually get enough character slots (currently at 12), I'd like to be able to swap between a pirate set for pdr (8% will give me 100% pdr including the Luminous link skill) and the best I can get for surviving HT/CHT/CZAK and future sed crazy bosses. I'll probably be using the pirate set for everything except when I solo nasty seducers like HT.
So I'm looking for any improvements I can make. I'm particularly interested in how cd reduction and buff duration work with the new hyper skills/buffs. I'm assuming that I will get 15-15*.04 will give me a 14.4 cd on Wind of Frey? How does rounding factor here?
Has anyone confirmed that the BaM's damage reduction works on 1/1? I know it should, but just checking.
The only really possible changes that occur to me are getting %def from Mihile or %avoid from DB for survival. I can't really see anything being better than the pirate set for pure damage.
