If you can't do all the Halloween related things, I'd aim to do the Scavenger Hunt things first. You get a back accessory and with each Act, it has levelled up. Here's a guide of it so far because you have to do a bit of travelling. I recommend trying to find friends to do Act 2 with as well, but there's usually enough random people to do it with.
The Mad King armours aren't unique. Light is Acolyte, Heavy is Pit Fighter, Medium is Duelist, but apparently the runes are worth around 1.5g. You can get the slippers from doing the new jump puzzle which is super amazingly fun, I forget where people got the crown from, but you can get other pieces from the Labyrinth. I think there are only 2 champ monsters ― one in the middle and one south ― that spawn a chest once defeated that have a chance to drop the armour. People were exploiting this, so now you can only loot the chest once a day.
But something cool is apparently happening tomorrow at 12pm PST, so check it out if you have time! :3
