Door lag isn't there though and that adds a 2-4 seconds per room.

It may seem like a big deal but that AB has 2-4 seconds of extra time per room, at least up until they stop 1hkoing (which happens at what, Ani?) For that matter, I've done the same 1 level per spawn time thing, so it's definitely possible in GMS (although as a class without ungodly huge range it's not as easy). Their 11 second timer is giving them 5 seconds before the spawn in each room, too.
