Several of those questions, we already knew the answers to.
Madara killed the people attacking Nagato, then while Nagato was still unconscious (Because if you remember, he was knocked out during the fight where he gained his rinnegan), implanted his rinnegan in him.
We were already told ages ago that the moon was the container for the body of the 10 tails, and it was at least very heavily hinted (in retrospect) that said body was the Gedo Mazo.
Yin yang justsu (Onyounton) are not anything new. They are just another "element" of technique. They result in several of the techniques that don't have obvious elements, like Shikamarus shadow techniques.
