I have pretty much every kind of HP equip there is for my marksman. Back when horntail was just released, I had to wear most of it to be able to survive the first part, so it's not like it's unheard of. ;x
I still have to wear a bit of HP equip for right side pianus and horntail (HP nose + HP earrings is what I usually equip for these - you don't lose a huge amount of damage by swapping face accessory/earrings.)
