I finally did it - Tips for a Newbie.

If you ever hear/see: X CHAMPION/X LANE IS MIA (missing in action), be very paranoid. While seeing enemy Champions is reason to be afraid, NOT seeing enemy Champions are worse. That usually means 1 or more players are planning to ambush and annihilate someone on the other team. Stuff can happen such as 1-4 champions suddenly popping out of nowhere while you're already half dead, and will finish you off quickly.

Remember: there's a Garen in every bush. EVERY SINGLE BUSH. NEVER FACECHECK BUSHES.
Kaasoljoyyx Wrote:Best way to start out is play with people who know about the game on low level accounts. I have one [level 8-10 forgot what it is] and can play with you. My main Id is the same as my SP ID. Play bots for a while until you get the basic basics then you can move on to other things. I would not worry about meta or anything like that until level 20+ at least. The most important things for a lower level to know atm are

- basic things
- what champs do what
- what diff types of champs are (AP, AD, tank, support, jungler)
- How to build them skill and item wise in a general sense (cookie cutter)
- only play certain champs until you get the hang of it

I would go unlock riot girl tristana (like their facebook page) and unchained alistar (liking their youtube channel). You can google it very easily. As what some people said, each week there are 10 free champions which rotate on monday/tuesday midnight. Of this week I would recommend

- Kogmaw (ADC)
- Pantheon (bruiser)
- Lux (AP carry)

Ashe is one of the best 450 IP (cheapest) champions to learn from and she is an ADC which teaches you a lot.

Also if you feel up to it, the last quarterfinals, 2 semi final matches of the world championships is wednesday 5pm PST. Also the grand finals is saturday at 6pm PST. It'll be a ton of information but it'd be good to watch it with someone. It's a good idea to watch them as you get better so you understand more things.

Using kog in games where you don't have a team to peel for you and don't have kiting or positioning down yet is a terrible idea.
Trying to learn AP carries with Lux is also a terrible idea. There's way too much stuff to focus on and too much stuff to aim.
