EQD Wrote:With the arrival of season 3 on the horizon it's easy to get introspective and reflect on how far we've really come. Has it been two seasons already? Have we already gone through two long pony droughts? Pony has a long history and will undoubtedly have a long and winding future ahead of it.(On a footnote:I just learned how to do this.)
But Pony isn't the only thing with a history though, each and every fan of the show both old and new has their own story to tell. How they first discovered the show, their reactions, how they found the fandom and the fond memories and deepest fears they experienced.
This post is for you guys tonight! I know how often you all like to reflect in my Blast from the Past posts so how about we take some time to listen to your own pony tales? Share your history in the comments below!
I know we're herd our stories about how we came across this at least once, but why not hear them again!?

PRO-MODE (Optional Challenge Posed By EQD Mods):Your history as to how your OC now exists.
[Spoiler=Classic's Brony History -Unabridged- (Warning:Wall of Text)]
October 10th 2010-The Beginning
I was just your typical 8th grader with a very abnormal life getting very abnormally low grades (D~F) and honestly, maple was my life at the time, along with your other typical games, back when Guitar Hero/Rock Band was a big thing, honestly, but enough about my life.
So I was on break at this time, and my cousins who usually visit on almost a daily to weekly basis were left in me and my sister's care. At that time, I was more aware of my surroundings, and when I herd Discovery Kids was turning to what we know now as the "Hub", I gave the channel the ol' "Gentlemen's Try".
I enjoyed the channel off the bat, at that time, I was into a whole load of retro shows, so I enjoyed them...
...Then MLP SHOWED UP. Initial reaction: I decided to give it 10mins before I changed it.
Overall, I was impressed. The clincher for me was when I saw the words.
"Adapted for television by: Lauren Fraust"
I. was shocked. The creator of Fosters, and one of the manpowers behind PPG?! Seriously?
So I gave the 1st episode a chance, watching them with my at the time, "Baby" cousins (2/4) and they seemed very entertained with it...either way, there wasn't anything else good on...or educational..
After that I kinda just lost interest because I don't see how it would appeal to such a small target age group.I gave it two seasons before it'll go under.
Chapter 1.5-Interlude
Chapter 2
Now my OC story is a doozy, whoever wants to hear it, let me know. It's a tale of awesome.
Edit:On a bigger footnote, I just watched S1 all over again...I musta been bored.
