Thoughts on the new PvP Grand Battle

Discounting that sweeping absolute about every Mechanic having the same kind of play, I'm pretty sure it's literally impossible to find a class that doesn't thrive off their own life to get kills in pvp.

I get what you're saying, I just think calling them suicide bombers doesn't really work. They have attacks, the DR is just a bonus. It isn't what they're defined by, and if you're going to call Mechanics suicide bombers you need to include every other class with DR because they can do the same thing, only better since they have more hp.

The difference between mechanics and other classes with DR is that everyone else has a % chance to reflect something when hit while mechanic's DR is active 100% of the time. This makes them one of the riskiest classes to attack with a big hit or ultimate because the reflect is guaranteed.

The other classes are not suicide bombers because there is no incentive to suicide: they would much rather live and rely on spray-and-pray. DR classes (mechanic especially) have a huge incentive to throw themselves into the crossfire and become cannon fodder because there is an actual significant gain that can be achieved by doing this other than resetting cooldowns.
