Sleepywood Sold, Old Site Probably Gone Forever

I honestly could care less SW is dead and maybe that's because a lot of members didn't see what happened behind the scenes.

iirc it was just one admin who was tasked to archive certain threads that were past a date, but they screwed up and archived pretty much EVERYTHING, including threads from the mod forum. I wasn't around when it actually happened, but they apparently didn't make a backup and there were just so many threads archived that they had to throw everything in one pile, including said moderator subforum threads.

That one particular admin should've never been admin in the first place; but looool, people get put on staff not because of performance, but because of favoritism. Plus, if you're a girl...omg...that's brownie points! ^______________________^

I believe it was that Adura would go out of his way to ban anyone he suspects is a hacker, or has played on Private servers.

Lol, he barely banned anyone. Most of the other mods/admins would've jumped on it way faster than him.

It's disappointing because this could have all been prevented. But oh well, I believe the site has been bought by a certain someone, so it's not dead forever.

SW was dead either way, and the site would not have lasted forever.

The website died in 2008 anyway in my honest opinion. The only time the user activity would spike is when
1. server maintenance happened
2. when most of the servers were being crashed because of the dupes

I may have had my fair share of friends, but iirc I was more pissed off at SW then being happy when I was actually there...so good riddance if you ask me.
And I will stop this rant right here.
