My ultimate goal is to make long distance space travel feasible (other galaxies; colonize other planets?)
Mine is startlingly close to this ^, although I've become very interested in UAVs recently.
Why did I chose to attend University and study physics? Because I want to understand everything and this is the best way to do it while getting paid.
Because I chose this school and degree, I'm already making more money, by a considerable margin, of any of my friends in or out of college as well as some adult relatives. When I graduate, I fully expect to make more money than my nondegreed relatives with 10+ years experience because I have the degree.
So yes, it was worth it.
