No, it isn't.
This is "Buy one item get a completely unrelated other item that we should have released through the normal means".
I don't spend 50 dollars on cubes a year, hell, I haven't spend more that 3 dollars on cubes, and I haven't bought NX since those fucking surprise style boxes came out.
What's frustrating is that they copy literally everything else from KMS, but take steps to make it cost money i.e. Surprise Style Boxes. Even when they don't copy KMS, it's a cash grab(See: Jett, Red Leaf High).
