That's a fairly ridiculous thing to say about a game that doesn't even exist yet, and not even close to what I was saying.
We've seen where Nintendo currently stands on jRPGs in the West, and I have a hard time blaming them for that because they aren't the big blockbusters that Nintendo really wants. It doesn't mean they'll keep that position forever; I feel like their attempt to embrace third parties may serve the jRPG crowd well, even. But currently there's no reason to get ones hopes up for anything because nothing has even been announced and the past has been bleak for the Nintendo console jRPG line-up.
Once we start seeing some real jRPGs announced for the Wii U, even if they're in Japan, I'll start paying attention. I won't be holding my breath, but I'll certainly hope Nintendo doesn't screw us over. But for now, all we've got is a pretty bad precedent.
