Can Vegas' be combined with cs Shield/Protect?

i have done this before with spike scrolls, you have to use all the protections on the item, which will gain symbols on it that affect the next scroll that will be used, i can't remember if the guardian/whatever that let you keep your scroll had a symbol (i think it was a shield).

can't remember if i did guardian+vega unfortunately :X sorry i can't help you there.
