It's not like it's even a first for platinum games though. You didn't see huge rage when the sequel(semi arguable, I suppose) to madworld, Anarchy Reigns jumped from wii to PS3/360.
Bayonetta 1 was a good game, not my normal choice of gameplay, but still. It being on Wii U rather than 360/ps3 is undoubtedly better than the franchise staying dead, which it would have if sega was left in charge.
