Wow, I didn't realize so many people had trouble with these jump quests. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I barely have any problems with these things. In fact, I actively seek them out because they're just so damn fun and exciting. I can't remember them all, but I've done... a lot of them. I think my favourite though has to be the one where you travel through Asura Gates to get to different parts of the jump quest, where new mechanics are introduced each time. The first one is wind blowing, second is lightning, third is snowy air and then at the end of most of them, there's a boss to fight, which is always fun.
The only jump quest I had trouble with, I actually did last night--the one hidden in Gendarran Fields. At one point, you have to parkour around an area and light four torches, while also dealing with multiple hostile level 30 ghost pirates who constantly spam that rapid fire gun attack (and when there's 3 of them doing that, let's just say your HP drops to 0 in a matter of seconds), then once all four torches are lit, a Veteran appears and you also have to kill it, but if any of the torches burn out, he disappears and you have to do it all over again. Since I was the only one there, it isn't hard to guess that I died trying to do this and decided to call it quits after that (it was late anyways). Gonna get my friend to help me out this time tonight.
We would have loved to join the Southperry guild, but we already chose a server to play on before we knew what server you guys would be on.
Currently my Guardian is level 38, and I'm having a great time with him. I actually didn't really like Engineer that much, I just couldn't get into it. But I made a Ranger, and that has been my secondary character and I'm really enjoying him too--with my pet polar bear.
