I used a target circle to see the terrain when it was pitch black. I was expecting something difficult, but the only hard thing about it is not dying falling down the slide the first time around. Not sure if I should have bought a weapon at the end. Didn't really seem worthwhile for such a large amount of karma, especially since I've been running Scepter/Dagger, and I only have ~14k @ level 45.
As for the 100k exp without dying, try getting it all/large amount from Craftsmanship.
