i wanted to test the slurpee 2x exp thing, so i went to 7 eleven and bought a nexon slurpee. as nexon said, there was a code on the cup. i went back home, went to slurpee.nexon.net, logged in, entered the code, and got an error stating that the code is either wrong or used. i re-entered the code multiple times and tried with or without caps, but still, nothing.
oh well, at least it is only like one dollar.

Maybe someone went to the store already and stole all of them...

What he said.
Anyways, if it is a scam, then it's the players scamming Nexon.
They last for 24 hours, 3 months each code, or so I've heard.

LOL, haven't heard that rumor, if that was true, then that would be awesome.
Basically, it was dumb of nexon to have the codes unprotected, makes them easily copyable. I've actually never seen a contest style thing with cups that didn't have a code hidden by being under the rip (like the simpsons 7-11 promo), or under a pull tab style thing.

My friend had the same problem last weekend. I bet people go around taking all of the codes. I tested it out with my phone and took a picture of the cde n his cup. Sure enough its clear as day. Somone could pretty easily go there and snap a few pics of the codes.
I guess when I get a slurpee I should only take from the bottom of the pile.

Why should they? Nexon probably paid them to make cups such as that, and if Nexon didn't take care of it, they wouldn't waste the effort.

If your cup had any Zeroes on it, make sure they're not actually "D"s (or vice versa). I got a Slurpee earlier today and thought someone stole the code, but it turned out I misread a D as a zero.

The important thing here is the slurpees!
I'd kill to drink one... there are no 7-11 in Mexico...

Meh, Slurpees are terrible. Since it's mostly ice, the drink tastes watered down. And that's before it melts. When it does melt, it tastes like water with a hint of caramel in it.
Plus, there's no carbonation, so it also tastes flat.

I have heard my bf's buddies talk about stealing codes from 7-11 slurpees.
That's what happened.

Yeah, kind of dumb, since you can only redeem 5 per account though. And yeah, slurpees, at least in canada, are nowhere near as good as icees. In fact, it seems, canadian and american slurpees are different, or, at least they are when I went to the 7-11 in LA.

Actually this is true but its not the code itself that lasts. Or at least it seems so. I have two friends both of them used the 7-11 code. With one, the code activated but lasted 5 minutes and died. With the second, the coded never actually worked. Thursday and Friday each bought a 2x exp card, the 4 hour one. It never died. It lasted for 24 hours before it expired.

Are you sure it wasn't the 2x event lasting 12hrs each day?

No because they were on 4x. They bought a 4 hour card and it *did not expire*. Its not that they continued on to 2x for the rest of the day. They were on 4x the entire time.
The only similarities between the two are, they both used a Slurpee code that either didn't work right or not at all, and they both logged a ticket with Nexon about it but heard nothing from them.
Its not that they just went afk in the game. One logged off and came back, noticed the card was still there. Went and started training again at 4x. The other one was still online when the card should have expired and noticed it didn't, continued on for 2 hours more went AFK and came back hours later. Still there.

My friend bought some safety charms last friday, she died twice and she never lost any charm. It must have been a bug. If only I had knew i'd have got a 2exp card too <.<

Totally! Just hope though, that those that had 2x cards that didn't expire don't suddenly find themselves banned for hacking or something equally stupid.
