You are amazing!

Just to be clear: If you try to use GameLauncher.exe while it's open through Steam, it'll just blink the client. IT KNOWS.

The client has become self-aware! Head for the hills! Grab all the gold you can find!

Well pineapple now I can't use the excuse of "I'm too lazy to get Windows disk/torrent to load with Boot Camp on this Mac." Guess I'll log in for pomegranates and giggles.

EDIT: Nevermind, turns out MapleStory is still requires Windows XP or later exclusively to play, so Steam on a Mac does nothing. YAY FOR DODGING A BULLET.

It was only a matter of time.

That took awhile to figure it out how to add MapleStory as a Steam game instead of a Non-Steam game.

For those of you who got the (no subscription) error, then you might have to reinstall Steam.

If that doesn't work then there's not much I can help.

Same here, but TF2 took a lot out of my computer.

How did you do it?

It doesn't seem to count any of your playtime on your community account, does this happen with other Nexon games on steam?

Well, this seems like a good move for nexon. Welcome to the extended family, much.
I'm tempted to re-download steam, since I"m just using it for DayZ, TF2, and other bs.

Question.

Maple won't "run under virtual machine" on my Windows XP SP3 VirtualBox..

If I try Maple through Steam, will I get different results? or the same? Cus I don't wanna re-download again and have the same issue.

I first got the error (no subscription) when adding it as the Steam game. That's why I re-installed Steam.

Hmm...Since I'm downloading it to Steam, and I know I'm gonna sound really stupid here but, would it be wise to uninstall the original one?
And for some odd reason, I didn't get the No subscription error.

For europeans its still a way to bypass it. You go into your game section, add a game and go into your maplestory folder. Add NXsteam and launche the client, works like a charm for me.

If you are on Linux or a Mac and trying to run Maple in a VM, chances are you will get the same results. It's still the same game, coded the same way, just with a little bit added for Steam usage.
