Nexon's version of pirates:

Lasers. Lasers Everywhere. Because pirates use lasers. Still looking for some love for a knuckle based class because then there would be more knuckles on the market. Only reason there's more guns is because every other pirate based class that has come out recently uses a gun (with the exception of cannon shooters because they have cannons). Still hoping for pirate hero that uses bare hands. you can do it Nexon! I believe in you (still).

The tutorial of Kaiser is missing but it's coming closer.

All new classes are essentially ranged nowadays.

It was a joke. Seen from a right viewpoint, Kaiser's head in that picture is reminiscent of the Black Mage's hood and eyes.

I'm more expecting to see the Black Mage bowing to Spiegelmann. If I remember correctly, Nexon did say the Black Mage wasn't the end all villain of the game.


On topic now: I really hope the nova pirate is a knuckler-based pirate. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the last one of those the Cygnus pirate?

This is unsubstantiated. All Nova classes have jobIDs 6xxx while Jett/DragonW is 570. They're not even closely related.

Waiting for Kaiser's tutorial, probably it will explain why is there a protection shell over Pantheon.
