I think it's obvious. 100% critical rate. If it's not, well, it was MY dream anyway.

I wonder how this new world will function when there's no MTS, no Anniversary weapons, no duped gear, no cubed equipment, and no billions and billions of botted mesos? And with millions of Phantoms running around with no botted MMBs and no explorers to actually steal skills from lol.

Great point. I think it'll be a kind of a "guinea pig" for Nexon. The only thing they can really do to alleviate all the concerns is hold massively long 2x exp/drop events, and maybe give out free books on a bigger scale.

Every new world always started out like that, with no MTS or world transfers.
This new world will have its fair share of botters, since nothing has been done about that, nor will be.

No duped items, everyone starts off on (relatively) the same footing, no established cliques... doesn't sound too bad to me.

Oh, not to mention more NX charged for Nexon.

No news on more ways to get renegade coins? Still stuck with 2 a day... sucks. (I'm still pissed off how ridiculously stacked the coin giveaways are for Pink Zakum. Fucking Timezones)

True, but it's inevitable that it'll get so extremely underpopulated that it'll have to get merged with the older servers and there'd be a lot of wasted effort. Nexon knows how to make a buck though. What I anticipate Nexon doing:

step 1: merge worlds bc they're underpopulated
step 2: release new world (cuz it was part of the port, or for w/e reason)
step 3: watch swift rise in NX sales because of new world
step 4: watch rise in step 3 change into a sudden fall due to inactivity/quitting
step 5: merge new world with others due to it being dead
step 6: watch people come back to new world and buy moor NX
step 7: laugh while twiddling thumbs

Its going to be funny if nobody makes adventurers and you have a million phantoms in the new server with no copied skills.

allright, the story, my friend got in maplestory since beta, i got a year afterwards, he was a sin, i went dragon knight, he was on his 40's when i started, i remember him hitting red numbers and asked him what where those and how could i hit numbers like those.

he answered that it was impossible, my class was unable to since it was something warriors didn't have, and i said one day, i'd be hitting all red numbers, this was in 2006.

advance to now, where i have an 80% crit rate with a weapon of mine and no DSE (but a DSE glove still) and phantom is the last 10% i'm missing.

that 100% crit will mark the end of a noob's dream... and it will end in success.

You overestimate the average intelligence of maplers.

Looking at basil, people are still falling for the trick. Only explanations I can come up with is that they must have either lived under rock for the last 3 years, or they are merge haters that are actually ignorant enough not to expect a merge for the new servers.

So, can we all agree to not give a **** about this new server? >_>

It will be merged eventually anyways (probably with one of the big servers, my guess would be bera) but people would go there for rankings/fame.
