I'm actually saying something more like phantom than a multi-weapon class, like a hybrid of Wild Hunter and a Hero? but being the main weapon a 2-handed sword. That would give a realistic mobility to the class (not something like Slip stream, the flash jump warrior skill) and a unique feature. Being the majority of his AoE skills ranged based while ridding the horse and his 1v1 on Sword fighting.




That could work too, being the horse for mobility purpose only.

I think you are a little early with that kind of reaction. A reskinned Jett for Samurai class is really not far fetched at all.

Actually, since absolutely nothing is confirmed yet, it could be a Visitor-like event, or it could just be a teaser page with a big middle finger from Nexon Japan's President.

i don't know why, but seeing "samurai" and "pirate reskin", all i could think of was a long-range samurai that fights using Iai strike soundwaves and stuff (attacks so fast he sends out shockwaves)

While I love the design of the JMS exclusive stuff, one can't really say it is very good as a whole. Zipangu is mostly useless besides Dreamy Ghosts and the Black Crow. Showa and Kaede Castle sucked for training and the bosses absolutely licked balls before Big bang, because you could not actually beat them if you were the wrong class. Lady Boss also created the very first "police" situation with idiots that claimed her as their territory. The original Neo Tokyo looked smashing though.

Funny you say that because back in 07, there was a "Samerai" warrior build that focused on high amounts of luk instead of dex, and everyone was waiting for so long for the bushido to come out lol

On a side note, I'm perplexed over buying this two-handed Empress sword. It's 700m and I saw a two-handed axe sold for 1 billion. Neither had/have potential and are average stats. If I buy it, I could easily equip my Hero with an Empress set (minus the cape) right now, or I can save the equipment if a Samurai class gets released that uses two-handed swords. What do? ...I also don't know if JMS will do that Empress equip stuff from Anniversary boxes this year. However, if the Samurai class uses two-handed swords, assuming that's what is being implemented, the prices might go up ten-fold. :X I only have 1.2 billion mesos and I'm not sure how I could make that money back. I can't buy NX or anything, so... =/ On the other hand, my JP friend demanded I buy it because it's apparently cheap. :f6:

I didn't check the quest data Uni collected before, but it seems that if you do the quest on a Monday, you have to buy a Japanese Katana from the Fishing Coin NPC... :f6:

It might just be nothing, but it does seem like a good indication of what this update will bring, to me.



I have no idea how non-NP users are going to be able to buy that item, though. As far as I know, you can only enter where that NPC is if you have a fishing rod, bait and a chair - the fishing rod being NP-only.

Does JMS get mount lag? If the Samurai classes uses a horse, I can see everyone mount lagging each other to death.
