I'm guess it's like Maple's potentials, and potential is set once the item drops/is created.

Stats are determined when they drop, not on reveal.

There's a gold dupe/steal exploit going around right now. Apparently the auction cancel thing works even when an item is sold.

This game is gold. As soon as I thought patch 1.0.3 was going to fix everything wrong, there's talk of a rollback and gold/item dupes. I hope they roll me back, I dare them. I'll get a refund for their game.

Pretty expected to have dupe/gold and account hacking problems for a new Blizzard game. The sheer amount of people playing it and the market value of gold and items makes for an even bigger target than Nexon's MapleStory. I just hope it will be solved quickly.

Gold dupe was a hoax apparently. Account hacking was never the fault of Blizzard, but other websites' pomegranate security and idiot users using the same account/e-mail and password for both things.

As previously mentioned, we’re going to be reviewing Legendary items in a future patch. Legendaries won’t change in 1.0.3, but it’s still something we’re actively working on.

I think they said they're looking at an ETA of 1.1 for the legendary buffs, or around the same time PVP comes out.

i thought it was too, i thought somewhere they said they were aiming for changing them in 1.03... but they tend to change what they say without a lot of notice or acknowledgment of their former stance.
