MapleStory Renegades - Coming this Summer

Please tell me we're still getting theif and pirate revamps. It isn't at all fair that we miss out on multiple enjoyable classes for the sake of one. However, Jett does look very interesting. I hope the story is better than NLC's aliens...

People expect Shakar, the Rush Limbaugh of Maplestory bloggers, to say something that isn't negative and exploitative of his viewer's own pessimism? Why else is he banned from every serious maple forum, including basil (yea even they can't handle him) as of last week.

This stuff isn't lame, it doesn't yet confirm that the revamps aren't coming ever/soon/eventually, and this rollout is a heck of lot more interesting than Nexon's old method of showing us a couple concept sketches of masteria monsters and endless Q/A with someone who couldn't give any answers other than "you'll have to wait and see". Or some tiny giveaway answer that would lead to endless bad speculation. Nexon really is starting to polish their public relation in terms of how content is announced, it isn't just a big mystery patch night as we wait for extractions. And honestly I find this stuff interesting no matter what it ends up being, this is a class that we get to master on our own without looking to kms for advice. That's what I find the best about it, the fact that it's gonna be interesting even after it's out and I'm gonna do my best not to look for guides on it =p

On topic.. I do think this looks very interesting.. Especially if it uses that hand cannon/ shield or whatever it is. I like the name of the update too. "Renegades" sounds awesome . Now to wait and see where all this hype leads when this gets released

Oh and the Theif / Pirate revamp.. I wonder what they are going to do about that..

Of course they do, resets aren't cheap and if I'm playing a class I know nothing about I just look for what people have to say about certain skills. Otherwise I do whatever I feel like doing, I usually disagree with guides otherwise. But with this class there probably won't be real consensus on anything so it's 100% disgression unless Nexon makes it a pretty simple class to figure out.

You might be surprised but there are many here.

Maple has inundated me with huge numbers for so long that the first thing I thought when I saw Phantom's bounty for 12 bill was "okay so if someone turns him in they have enough to buy all of maybe three end-game equips, max, or probably just one if they want something really good".

Then I realized it was 12 trillion, and I didn't really care because the MTS is gone anyway so you couldn't turn all that into NX for cubing/buying other stuff/bribing anyway.

Nothing would be more epic than a whip user Jett. Not just it completely fits the space renegade/hunter/cowboy scheme, it also could deliver the perfect balance between melee and ranged attacks, making this job awesome. I root with all I have for a whip user Jett, and I hope it isn't a copy like that Dragon Warrior is.

Also, I lol at some of the people here foreseeing a whole new branch of space classes.

It looks like a double-barrel shot gun to me. Their right hand is holding the barrel and their left hand likely on the trigger. Maybe it's a double-barrel laser shotgun.

The theory is that this class is a "reskinned" dragon warrior. Same skills with different sprites.
We have yet to see anything that contradicts this, but then we have yet to see much of either class.

Sad to say this might actually happen, but we won't know for a couple of weeks. Best to keep ur hopes to the ground then get them up, expect glitchyness/dcing/super OP class or super underwhelming carbon copy of a ranged class.

in CMS you make it a dragon warrior cuz it ties into the demographic over there, and here it is Jett because Aliens!!!11

Currently, the teaser page only contains information about Jett, and nothing else about Phantom and Hilla. In the teaser page, they show the video above as one of the clues, and they will be releasing more clues on 6/15, 6/22, and 6/27 (I think it might also be released on that day)!

Wut? How about the whole cowboy stuff. It's the first thing people think of when speaking of USA! Space + Cowboys!

I'm kinda hoping with all this each division of Nexon with their own classes will make ALL the 5 Renegades. Instead of 5 per Neon division, which I think would be overkill...
