Yellonde players got owned wanting to transfer out

Due to Yellonde being a new server, you will not be allowed to transfer to and from Yellonde until further notice. Please be aware that those who purchased a world transfer to Yellonde before today's server maintenance will be refunded.

Obviously no one wants to transfer to Yellonde but many people took advantage of the high exp rate and are now wanting to transfer back to their original servers.

Eh, at least they're refunded.

I'm sure people who used Yellonde for it's 3 weeks of 2x transfered out long ago. I wonder if they ment to say Dethmos or w/e the newest one is?

Besides it's kinda odd for no transfers only to the newest server and they are not the newest anymore.

Which is why I personally believe that restricting it by "newest server" as the original announcement said, IIRC, is a much more stupid restriction than just using a fixed delay.

However, I can't find the original announcement in their archives or any other server info on the main site, so I can't find the exact text of it.

Plus that still doesn't answer why they're suddenly blocking transfers out of their 'new' servers - haven't people already transferred out of Yellonde?

Yollande was valuable to rapid levelers from the start of August to the start of September. I was there myself, I transferred out on the Sept. 9 server check. Yollande has a horrible community and a lot of people, (inc myself) didn't like it. The people that wanted to leave Yollande are probably gone by now anyway.

However, people who intended to use Demethos' 2x and then leave, are now warned that they will not be permitted to do so.

I wonder what that will do. Will they ditch those characters asap? Or will they decide to make Demethos their real home?

There's a third option.

Play till the end of the event, and then play on another server or Demethos itself, until they DO allow server transfers. Eventually they'll be allowed to leave and they will.

A good portion of the Demethos pirates, I'm willing to bet will be ditched anyway once the prizes have been given out.I for one am making Demethos my new home, so I'm not all that worried.

These rules always apply the the newest server. And with the suprise of Yellonde now too.

Furhermore, I agree with Nexon's move. They probably shoulda done this earlier though.
