To those who've quit: What would make you come back?

Sort of like the Geist Balrog in APQ but more difficult/more strategy. Jump quests in bosses is an awful idea, because not everyone is good at those. So anyone who is bad at Jump Quests is screwed on the boss and can't fight it? That's stupid. It usually takes me an hour or two to do the Zakum JQ, imagine that being part of Zakum himself. The boss would be dead of boredom/my allies long before I got close. I agree with the multi-stage things though. I did Horntail for the first time a week or so ago, and I found the multiple stages he had were interesting. Too bad after that the fight is as boring as Zakum. Not exactly sure how Nexon thought a boss that stood there for hours, casting random auto-hit spells would ever be entertaining.

The Zakum jump quest isn't massively difficult, it's just long. If you're patient and time things properly it really isn't very hard. I was thinking more along the lines of the Ninja Castle jump quest (has save points pretty much), but I don't know how it'd work. I can sense frustrating things like a boss pushing you off a platform which wouldn't go down well at all. Maybe it wouldn't work as well as I thought. :/

Nothing. I casual play every once and a while and that'll never change. It's called growing up.

Seeing as my girlfriend and I log on sometimes. But I'm past the point of really caring about what goes on in MS anymore. It would be pretty hard for Nexon to actually do anything to make me come back to playing at least 2 hours a day like I was before.

That one takes me longer than ZJQ and is a 10th the size. Not saying a boss JQ would be hard, but still...I can see far too much potential for frustration, especially knowing how Nexon likes to make stupid things like JQs so annoying that it's not even funny.

I might actively play for Justice for a while, but Diablo 3 is all I give even the slightest pineapple about when it comes to MMOs right now. Maplestory and Nexon will be but a topic of laughter after next week's launch. (For me, anyway.)

Nothing. I have started playing games with qualities better than Nexon could offer (in all aspects), and it is unlikely that I will return. I'm done with them.
Some of their critical failures: - NO balance whatsoever. If they wanted to be good, they should have a small team dedicated to examining new/current game content and do balancing work every single patch - No GM presence. A successful game never leaves its ass open to individuals with malicious intent. I have never seen them seriously counter hacking, unless its an extremely serious, critical event that has to be fixed immediately. - Bad PR. Too many "dun goofed" moments. - Support is absolutely sh'it. Excuse me if I'm Captain Obvious here.

Create a clean server that is pay to play and heavily monitored, active GMs in said server, no potential(with mobs that are scaled accordingly), remove all these excess classes like Cygnus and Resistance, implement a hacking prevention system that doesn't suck horribly, make quests an effective way to level up all the way to max level with more than just 'kill x mob 1000000 times' quests, remove MTS and Gachapon, and work on the storyline. Maybe then.

Been waiting forever for Diablo3 to take me away. Finally. No reason to MS anymore.

-Allow me to get powerful without spending NX on cubes/misc crap.
I see no reason why NX couldn't just be a shortcut to power, but right now it's the ONLY way to power.

1. Removing hacked items (not going to happen)
2. Actual content. That's all. No more revamps and new jobs. Say, if they released something like 5th job, I would come right back. |
