Glitch and Bug thread v1.07

I saying EXACTLY that. We got Inherited Will for the time being instead.

If you recall, even cassandra tells you that you have no part of the alliance at this time. This changed with the Union patch and we are given access to the Evan-specific questline for joining the alliance. I tried to start my Will of the alliance quest back in 106 using notes from KMS players and it simply didn't work. The notes turned out to be accurate but we are now sitting with a bugged quest.

Whether I made a mistake along the way or not, we still can't get past the Bear Cart bug.

=o didn't know about that Ferdi thing, I might as well at least pick up the Alliance quest and hope they fix it eventually.

EDIT: I finished the "Town filled with Suspicion" quest from Ferdi, and now I have the Meet Hiver quest =] Thanks for that!

But a few Evans had the quest last patch, but were stuck on the Bear Cart part, also Arans were able to get both the Regained Memory and Alliance skills.
The Cassandra quest from last patch was just a reminder to finish up all story related quests, and everyone got that quest, not just Evans.

Yes, everyone did get that quest. It was a reminder of who you were. Mercedes characters got the message saying YOU ARe SO FRGGIN IMPORTANT. Evans got he message saying YOU ARE STUPID, COME BACK LATER. Yes, everyone got a message.

Also means new characters can't complete the Enter the Stronghold Quest.

Not a bug. That's Nexon's FIX for hackers trying to get to Empress.

I dced using the arrow button when browsing monsters in the monster book, I think it triggers when you go from the top of a list of drops to mid way through on the next monster. Happened 3 times.

Client memory leak because boss has too many laggy animations, like VL and Empress. Happens all the time for me when I'm clicking one by one and looking at their drop lists. Memory usage skyrockets, and I end up having buggy pixels like missing blocks or I'm walking on air. Its been like this for a long time now.

It wasn't a boss though, was browsing through the future Henesys mobs (slime/mushroom/snail>dced). I've noticed the horrible lag with VL and stuff (the Ice Witch lagged the hell out of me too) since it's been released. Haven't dced browsing through normal monsters before though.

I can't finish the last silent crusader quest, "The Coming Storm", where you need to kill Arkarium. when you get into an expedition move to the available ch, it still says you're at the wrong ch.

That's 'cause GMS can't count channels right.

It says 12, 17, and 19, but it's actually 13 and 18, and Windia doesn't have 20, but probably 20 as well, for the newer servers.

Its cause GMS's "developers" don't seem to realize that Ch1 is actually 0. IT's why all the boss Channels are shifted by 1 from what they state.

No, Channel 1 is the only "correct" one. GMS goes linearly (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, etc.) in terms of IP addresses and ports, but KMS goes 1, 20, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, etc. Channel "20" is only available to those who's KSSN's denote them as 18 years of age or older.

Wonder if anyone is experiencing these glitches:

1) I've finished the will of the alliance quest on my Mercedes (have the medal), but haven't received the buff in beginner skills.

2) When I CC, booster disappears.

I checked with friends and they don't get this, so I really don't know what's going on with my mercedes.

ccing isn't a "glitch" per se i guess, it means that your character doesn't have enough dex without buffs to keep the item equipped, so when you CC, it unequips and reequips momentarily, making you lose boosters.

Oh yes, that's it. I can barely equip my things at the moment (I need a potion to equip all my gear if I take it all off), so the DBG being unequipped wouldn't be surprising. Thanks ^^.

Nexon did fix the Evan Alliance quest glitch. They just never mentioned it anywhere at all. Cart Bears now drop two types of meat, one for the old quest and one for the new Evan Alliance quests. Completing the quest chain will give you the Alliance Skill and Medal. You can also get the Wand by completing a quest from the Empress.

After doing all this, Mir is less obsessed with revenge. Obviously the Alliance has a psychiatric counselor.
