High school DxD ep 12 Finally, issei gets a moment of awesome that doesn't involved ecchi

Because of the ecchi in it, most likely. Most ecchi shows, especially really heavy ones, last around 10-14 episodes. It's unfortunate, but given how much material there is for them to cover, I'd say it's a safe bet we'll get another season or two. Well, so I'd like to hope, anyways.

I smell a Fall/Winter 2012 release for Season 2.

Senki Zesshou Symphogear - 12

I somehow smell a season 2 because they were all like, SYMPHOGEAR!!! And now they're like, V2 or w/e e_o

Senhime Zesshou Symphogear episode 12: I was absolutely convinced this was the last episode. Considering how this episode ended, i'm really glad it wasn't.
When the music started at the end and they wen't full on Valkyrie mode? awesome.

Finé is a realllllly boring villain.

This episode marks the only time I've really enjoyed Inori's song. Particularly the action remix.

I pineappleing love when theme songs play during the last episode.
The ED playing during the finale of Black Rock Shooter and then having the OP while the credits roll, and the OP during the climax of Highschool DxD and then the ED during the finale were awesome.

Ozma - 2 - Hmmmmm I wanna know more about whats going on D: If this show is really only 6 episodes, they really need to pick up the pace on the information here.

Senhime Zesshou Symphogear - 12 - Dayum, she went all kinds of berserk there! The next fight should be interesting.

Yeah. I watched SubDESU's release of the episode, so that's probably why I didn't see it. If that's the actual correct translation, then glad it was in there, then.

Senki Zesshou Symphogear 12: Holy pomegranate I think that last scene with the OP is like one of the best scenes of any show this season. That was amazing.

Guilty Crown 22: I found the ending to be a bit disappointing. Hurfdurf where's Daryl?

Amagami SS+ 11&12: Surprisingly, I disliked Itou Shizuka's voice in these two episodes. It's a bit higher pitched than usual or something. Jessica was weiiiiiiiiiiiiird.

Rinne no Lagrange 12: What was this show? What the hell just happened? I don't understand. They didn't explain anything! It was like the whole purpose of the 12 episodes was to announce season 2...

Tantei Opera Milky Holmes Act 2 Episode 12: Dat ending F7 I feel it's lost its charm from season 1. Have a feeling they'll do a season 3 though and if they do, I hope they change it up.

Rinne no Lagrange 12: What was this show? What the hell just happened? I don't understand. They didn't explain anything! It was like the whole purpose of the 12 episodes was to announce season 2...

Basically this. I had to stop 10 minutes in and check to make sure I didnt skip episode 11

Rinne no Lagrange - 12 - This could have been a nice show if it just continued for a full 24 episodes instead of splitting the two seasons over two non consecutive airing seasons. I will say that the animation stayed pretty decent to me throughout.


Now, lets have fun and compare Lagrange and Symphgear!!

Both focus around three girls who fight against mysterious enemies.
The main girl in both seeks to protect a place and people they hold dear (Hibiki wants to protect the school and everyone there, Madoka wants to protect the whole town and everyone there).
The first secondary main girl in both were already involved in the fight before the main girl shows up (Lan for Lagrange, and Tsubasa for Symphogear).
The last secondary main girl for both were orphaned as children, and both fought for the enemy before joining the good guys.
Both the main girls go into a super mode when someone they hold dear dies or appears to die.
Both shows have a bad character posing as a good character (Fine for Symphogear, and possibly Moid for Lagrange [verdict is still out on that though]).


I feel like I could go on, but these were the most blaring of the similarities.

Another Episode 12: Didn't see that coming. That beginning was pretty crazy too. If I'm not mistaken, the OVA is supposed to be episode 0 so hopefully they'll address that 1 new mystery in it.

When the movie started playing along with the ED. oh god, MANLY TEARS, MANLY TEARS.

Sigh, why such a troll ending? it wasn't happy or sad, just disjointed and it just skipped all the best parts.. >:/
Out of all the shows i've watched this season, i wasn't expecting THIS one to have the worst ending.
