New classes: Monster class! Play as any monster (bosses require NX). But wait, ALIENS warp you back to random points in time and you become the monsters that Maplers hunt for experience! Infinite loop!

How is pessimistic to disbelieve in something that's absolutely idiotic and hasn't actually happened yet? That's pragmatism. I'll believe it when it's actually in production.

If anything Eos is being optimistic by not accepting* that this class will make it to the live server. *"Accepting" might not be the correct word choice but I am too careless to think of a more fitting word right now

The more I think about this, the more I like this class.
They made the original CKs to be like tutorial characters, and when you finish em, you get a lvl 50 Explorer to start on, and a pretty nifty buff skill. I've always heard people say that they wished the CKs could reach 200, so that they could matter in late game, and this is probably as close to that as we're gonna get. As for them making DWs useless - Like all other "link skill" characters, they're only gonna be available for a short time then closed for creation til they feel like reopening em. As such, I'm sure that the original CKs will still have their purpose for being the tutorial. I've always wanted to play each of the CKs, but I can never make myself play them, knowing just how similar their skills are to their Adventurer counterparts. The Mikhail class at least has a different set of skills from the regular explorer warriors, so I won't feel like I "might as well just make a Hero". The idea of it being Mikhail himself is a bit......meh, but I have a good enough imagination to just pretend he's what DWs should have been~ (I'll do the same if all the other Cygnus Instructors become playable, lol)
