Soul Driver is 1601 ms?How is that possible?Hmmm(I seem to not have realised the previous Soul Driver was 1601 ms but...)
Also, any information on how the shields are obtained?
Haiz 1h sword prices going up again.
They need to put in some incentive to use 2h swords(higher multiplier comes to mind...hmm)
Only the 4th job shield can be potentialed though zz
Max 4th job shield only has 24 str and dex(Guess it helps with empress equips?) and 800 hp, 105WDEF 55 MDEF
Kinda crappy since it's just a shield but oh well.

So this is where Intrepid Slash ended up. Was wondering why they never gave it to Dawn Warriors.

Why Nexon? Why make instructors playable when the point of them is to pass their skills onto a new generation of knights to defend Her Highness? Eurgh...none of the skills look original either. A horizontal Soul Driver, another laz0r blast, a "holy" version of the Demon Slayer's Dark Endure, a flash jump with wings, a more elaborate looking Advanced Charge Blow. It's like they stopped trying.

So...All Warriors are now obsolete. This class outmatches everyone in every way. It gets like 50% Crit boost over it's jobs, 40% Defense Ignore, tons of attack, and so much other pomegranate that this pomegranate just ISN'T FUNNY ANYMORE.

Nexon, STOP MAKING CLASSES. There's NO FUCKING REASON every class has to be 90000000000000000x better than EVERYONE ELSE. Why the pineapple am I spending months leveling my Paladin, when in a few months they're just going to release something so VASTLY superior, that I could have 300% STR and I would still lose to a Clean version of that new char.

Except we currently can only go up to 15 max character slots. In GMS already, 4 slots are used for characters for attack buffs and link skills (Cygnus, Cannoneer, Mercedes, Demon Slayer). Phantom is around the corner, which will bump that up to 5. If they seriously release all 5 of the Cygnus Knight instructors, each with a link skill of their own, well that bumps it up to 10.

That leaves 5 slots left - and the choice between 3 Resistance Classes, Aran/Evan, and 5 different Adventurer classes that each branch off into 2-3 additional classes of their own.

Also, there's a new login screen, you can now login with either your Maple account or your Nexon ID, which I guess doesn't really apply to us, since we don't have the seperate Nexon ID/Maple ID thing. I thought it was cool and interesting, or whatever.

That's before you consider their actual attack skills, which are better than most warriors from what I can tell.

This class completely obsoletes everyone else. It adds everything that's good about warriors, mashes it up into one class, and says "FUUUUUCK YOU" to everyone else, "Did you spend 6 months working on that character? A year? More? LOL TOO BAD HERE'S SOMETHING WAY BETTER THAT INVALIDATES ALL THE TIME YOU SPENT!"

It's Combat Mastery, same as Heros have now.

Which doesn't negate the rest of your rant, namely that every new class has to outdo everything that came before... until the inevitable revamp.
So, so stupid.
But if this is what Koreans players like, I guess we're going to have to live with it too.

Are they slowly turning the monster carnival guy into a bad guy? It kind of seems like they're going to end up revealing him as the black mage which would be enough to make me never want to think about Maple Story again.

The better version of Meta is just Enrage from Heroes. It's just a mashup of Heroes and Demon Slayers, with some Dawn Warrior skills, from what I've seen, nothing they have is better than the original skill, though they may get it earlier, but such is the spirit of a Cygnus class, and the only new skills they got were the ones previewed in the Inkwell's Diary entry, Soul Assault and Shining Blast.

This doesn't invalidate the time I spent, I greatly enjoyed playing my Paladin, my Demon Slayer, and my other classes as well, and I have a feeling I'll probably enjoy Mikhail as well. I wouldn't worry about it too much, there's always something better, something new, and while the old stuff looks less appealing, it's not like people are gonna drop all their warriors to make Mikhail, at least not permanently.

This class has 5% critical like every other Warrior. The only critical boost it gets is 100% on the last hit of Soul Assault, and 20% from Soul Enrage which has a cooldown, and 20% from Soul Attack which requires the enemy to be under a status effect. How is that a crazy critical boost? Dark Knights and Paladins have more. Critical sucks balls on Heroes anyways.

And it doesn't have a better version of Metamorphosis, it has a worse version of Enrage since it has the cooldown.
