Do they work for overalls?

Not sure~ but why use it on an overall, you can use them on lvl 16 common pants and just glitch it. There are far better stats you can get on overall, like 3% ALL Stat, or 3% single stat, that you can use on overall. (i actually cubed over 3% all stat and 3% str trying to get one decent skill)

No, all the ones I got from boxes were D ranks.

I just cubed one of the D ranks to A.

I think those boxes only give D rank honestly but if someone gets a better rank than D, I hope they put a screenshot of them. I opened at least 200 boxes and all were D.

Not sure if this was said, but demon aegis can NOT get sockets, and the legendary black dragon ring CAN. Now if they'd fix that ring's scrolls...

I know Pirates and Magicians who could use skill overalls and not be reliant on low level bottomwear.

You only need to equip the item once, go to PvP, unequip the item, and it stays on your Skills permanently. It would be a waste to just use something like that on something like a empress overall.

Nobody in GMS swaps gear for decent skills unless they have extremely high morals.

YESSSSSS.

I was hoping to hear that, now i can make my ring even better

So, is it like Potential in that only items with slots can be socketed?

I think even KMS has glitched skills until PVP was removed.

It's the same system so probably, but that wouldn't explain why every single character who made videos of high level boss runs since it's release swaps out their gear.

That's interesting, because you can't socket the Crusade ring :/

Confirmed.
OT: I saw some dude drop an int 1% after dropping a bunch. I picked it up. Can't be sure he cubed though.

After actually comprehending how this new system works, I was thinking the exact same thing.

I mean, first of all, we have the fact that you can only get so much damage from it, seeing as each equip gets only one line.
Also, since you can choose which power to give to what equip, there's much less waste.
For example, if one were wanting to power up his/her warrior by cubing for STR, but, in the process, got M.ATK, that good 'line' wouldn't be wasted. Instead, that person could give it to another one of their character's items or sell it.
Even better is the fact that adding a socket is set up to become a meso sink.

In my opinion, this new system is absolutely brilliant and how Potential should have been all along.

Adrian Wrote:Wonder how long it will take them to add more sockets, this system reminds me a lot of Diablo 2's socketing system and that could have up to 6 sockets for weapons...
Still would be better than Potential as long as adding sockets costs mesos.

How many cubes did that take?

There's only ONE thing i would change and that is having A/S rank drop at a reasonable rate (once every like 5-10 runs or so) from bosses.

Having the nebulite be destroyed after being removed is kind of a kick in the balls too, as said before, once they release S rank all applied A ranks users pretty much have to charge NX for each one they want to replace.

I won't be terribly upset about losing the Nebulite upon removal if the rarity upgrade rate from cubes is high enough. If it takes under 20 cubes to get from D to A on a regular basis then it's not too bad. Though, I really only intend to use these to give myself the decent skills.

That would be nice, but it's not a 'must' for me.

It would fit my ideal vision of what NX should be though:
NX should not allow people to achieve or gain something that can't be achieved or gained otherwise.
That is to say, it should only make things easier, not make them possible.

The only reason the "remove = destroyed" is annoying because of that last bit.
It is rather pathetic that they're not afraid to show us that they already plan to make A-rank obsolete (for some players).

Omg.
I just realized that this whole system is EX Gems.
