it's not equips, or you could think of it as equips/scrolls that go into your equip, you open a new slot (socket) into your equips (be it weapon, armor, whatever) and then you fill said socket with the nebulite that has the potential you want.

I don't think I get it...The nebulite has a primary stat which can be a % stats and a potential which can be 2 lines. So... That makes it 3 lines of % stats, just like a regular equip? Incredibly broken.

don't think they have potential, the nebulite is potentialed, and i'd assume it's a single line/item.

example:
"this nebulite adds 8% str"
>cube
"this nebulite now adds decent SE"

So I can get an additional 40% stats with a 4% nebulite equipped to belt, hat, cape, earrings, overall, glove, shoes, shoulder pad, pendant, and shield?

This could be great for unfunded players if you can hunt for specific % nebulite at a convenient drop rate.

This is the kind of system I'd like, one that isn't hopelessly stacked against you (like finding an epic/unique potential item at all, let alone one that is useful to you) if you choose to go the free route so you can effectively hunt it yourself without being totally reliant on the FM or NX.

Even assuming finding Nebulizers is roughly equivalent to its twin in potential, it wouldn't be that bad to find 1% nebulizers for a nice 10% stat boost total. It's nowhere near the 40% we're dreaming of, but it isn't half bad.

Hopefully the decent skills aren't level restricted, but it would be funny to see stuff like Self-HB on level 11 Pants or Self-SE on WG's, etc.

i'd really like it if it were like this, you can hunt for the avg and above avg ones, i can only hope, don't ask me for what i expect though.

So a funded new char now has not only rings and gloves and blessings and link skills from the get go, it also has CO and HB and all that other fun stuff. At least until glitching decent skills is fixed.

Looking more like FF7 everyday. We already got the evil company sucking our life blood now we got materia all we need are the alien maps to look like Midgar and we're set.

I recall reading over the old potential patch notes and remember people saying stuff along the lines of 'oh cool! we can hunt equips with potential, then we won't have to cube them (as much).' I get the feeling it's going to be the same with this. I really hope not.

If Nexon put in as much effort to fix the game's problems as they do for making new items/areas/etc, we'd have ourselves a game worth playing. Until then, screw this crap.
