Your name is mentioned on Basil occasionally, usually in conjunction with SP. Any Basiler who is also a redditer will associate this with you. And everyone on SP who saw it thought it was you at first.

I don't get it.
Maybe i'm just out of touch with how hacking works (since i have no idea) but i really can't see whats funny about this, it's not like he's trying to mislead people into doing something illegal or stupid. Explain!
