hmm, yes, and what irony in that pirates still have guns and bullets as their main weapons.

really, regardless of what nexon has done to this site in the past two or three days, I wish you would stop trying to force your beliefs on us. Every post except for one or two of yours that I have seen horribly and bluntly bashes Nexon, regardless of whether they're in the wrong or whether they're actually just in what they're doing.

everyone is entitled to their own opinion, yes, but I sincerely request (even as a normal member with very limited power) that you don't try to force your beliefs on us - and through the magnitude language that you us, you really are.

China changed Showa because they didn't want us to fight other Monsters that look like us Maplers that have weapons. What I don't understand, why did CMS (or GMS) take out the weapons in the background of that one map when we see it all the time in weapons stores (Maple Story).

I guess...I mean, for pirates, killing is just killing. Once the victim is dead, that's it.
For an organized criminal ring like the Yakuza for example, once the victim is dead, they kill the victim's family, burn the house, then rape the bodies.

Guns were removed from Showa because they would have been used against things representing humans (our characters). That's the same reason that Showa monsters transform into raccoons when they die in our version but not in most other versions. None of the monsters in the game represent humans, so according to Nexon, using this gun on non-human monsters is perfectly okay.

But anyways, Nexon simply censored the guns like what others said - keeping the game "clean" for the younger players by not inciting human-to-human gun shootings against each other. Slip-up FTW?

To make matters more confusingly hilarious, on the MapleStory Mainpage, on the "new looks" NX thing, it shows a character holding the assault rifle and F7-ing.
