Patch .62 Delay Poll

5-9 is the most practical time we cna hope for.

While I certainly don't have the motivation required to do this, I've always thought that a fun thing to organize on here was a game that awarded points to people who accurately predicted Nexon's patch/server-check delays. A running total and high score list could be kept, to see who is best at predicting the delay time. There could be monthly winners, and then a running total for those who are dilligent enough to continually foresee Nexon's failure at game updates.

Anyway, my prediction for this patch is for 'moderate' chaos, not 'utter' chaos.

I like this idea.

MapleStory will be going through a scheduled Patch on Tuesday, November 11th, 2008.

Edit: The Patch will be extended for one hour.



This one involves the game servers, and it'll last for approximately 8 hours.

Believe me, it won't take one more hour to put all those together. More like a whole day ...

0-2 hours. Then comes the 2+ hour emergency servercheck that comes with almost every "big" patch.

Hopefully they really will take over a week to patch though, just to spite the rotten community.

I would say around a 5 hour extension.

I'm going to say 5-9 hours...and possibly more.

I find it hard to believe that a seven hour patch comes with a new world, a new class, and various other small additions. I'm hoping the patch will be done by 9:00 AM since I have the day off from class. Prediction of 1-4 hours. 9:00 AM would be a four hour delay, which is what I see it coming down to in the end.

It's a bit selfish of you guys to be hoping it gets delayed until you get home from school. Let those of us with days off suffer, huh? Guess that's how people have been brought up these days. "If I can't be there when the server gets up, then no one can!"
