Nexon Takes Advantage of Veteren's Day

How about you start the patch already Nexon.

People wanted to play Pirates on Veteren's Day. Not drink slurpees and train on characters they will ditch next patch.

People get off for Veteran's Day? I thought only federal/state workers did got off work. Hmmmm.

Schools, being run by the state, thus let the teachers off work, and so the students get the day off as well.

Well I didn't get off of school today =/

Well technically I did because the high school band had to play at the VA Center, but the rest of my school didn't.

Then again I'm not complaining, because the veterans fought for our country.

Besides, I'm pretty sure those kids would be upset if maple was in patch mode from say 7am~11pm on a school holiday for many of them even if it was pirates.

to all whiners: pineapple you for complaining. Seriously, you haven't a single valid reason to, aside from your right to free speech. A major patch has been delayed (isn't this normal by now?), therefore you can't play it on your free day off, which only exists because a bunch of brave mofos DIED to protect your future. seriously, go crawl into a hole and be ashamed of yourselves....

And Nexon should be ashamed for trying to make money from selling Slurpees on a day tons of people died for our country.

I thought the Nexon-ingame banner was pretty funny because most places in Canada/USA are pretty cold right now as it is mid-Autumn, and plus it's rainy in some areas, so why would anyone want a slurpee in this kind of weather.

Lol, exact opposite for me. It's 85 degrees outside where I live in the US, and I could definitely go for a slurpee right now.

Today's Veteran's Day? I still had class. Just 90 minutes, though. I don't even go to my other class.

No time off. We don't get off for Columbus Day either, although the high schools do.

The thing is, the majority of kids won't give a pomegranate it's Veteran's or Rememberence Day. All they would really care about is if they get the day off school and QQ if they don't. Just because it's Veteran's/Rememberence Day doesn't mean it's morally wrong to go enjoy yourself.

You pay the same amount for a slurpee whether or not Nexon supports 7-11 for the free stuff. So I don't know why people say our money's being taken for no reason. You're still paying the same price, the 90 minute card is just a bonus.

It's advertising. You may not have thought about buying a slurpee or a 2x card before, and then go out and buy one.
