You going to buy a lot of double post coupons too?
Obviously there's constant 1x.
Wait.
Now it doesn't make sense.
Dafuq.
I swear it was 4.5x when I looked at it yesterday.

3/2=1.5+3=4.5
1*3*1.5=4.5
In other words that 1.5 you are getting is half of what the 3x is.

I'm pretty sure its multiplicative and not additive :/

Why not take pics of every exp you get before and after the buffs? Becouse i think it goes like this: normal exp: 100, 3x exp= 300 (doesnt matter if it is 3x or + is the same thing). now if you add HS you get 50% more so you need to get the 50% of 300 and thats the extra exp you get: 50% of 300 = 150 so now you get: 450 exp.
Now lets add 1.5, 1.5 its like adding 50% more exp so with this you go have to get the 50% of 450: 225 so now it adds up to : 675. Now if you add the 2x card it would be: 1350. so instead of multiplicative or adding yous calculate it with % its easier to understand it.
1.2= 20% more (familiar buff), 1.5 = 50% (like hs). Well that is how i understand it

Seriously, guys?
It's multiplicative. Always has been.

On the topic of EXP I think over the weekend I hit some sort of EXP multiplier cap. While using a WB mule, HS, 1.5x exp legend buff, 2x card and the 3x event when I deactivated HS I gained around 12k exp at Roids activating HS I would get 1 exp per kill. - Has anyone else seen this?

So in other words it's multiplicative. since anything *1.5 is the same as 150% of any number.

The exp multiplier cap is 8x, anything higher and it reverts all exp to 1. 3x *2x = 6x, 6x * 1.5x(HS) would make it 9x exp. which is above the 8x exp cap.

I appreciate the compensation nexon provided here. very good stuff indeed.

I might level my brawler and my shadower during this time... That justice patch is lookin good on them.

Something must have been wrong when I was at bearwolves yesterday, or being in a party saved me from this. I was on 1.3x, 2x card, hs, and 3x event and exp was going just fine at about 800k a kill. The only SS I have is from when I levelled while the 6th person was afk and not in the party (we remade the party so we could add people seeing as he was the leader). When we had 5 people, I was getting 234168+4683+526878+23417 = 789146 exp per kill on a bearwolf when only I dealt damage to it. Add the 6th person and the 527k exp became 560-570k. It must be the 1.5x buffs that are causing people to drop to 0 exp in the same situation (2x card, event, and hs) rather than the 1.3x

The cap only applies to the first line, the kill exp (your 234168). The other lines are bonuses and don't count towards the cap.

Buying 1x?
Why do I get the feeling you aren't good with money?

Raul Wrote:I swear it was 4.5x when I looked at it yesterday.
Not sure if you caught on...

3 + 1.5 = 4.5
That's true.

However,
3 x 1.5 = 4.5 as well.

The problem is that you concluded it must be additive simply because the first formula answered your question and you assumed that it was a mutually exclusive case.

He was making fun of Raul.
If it were additive, buying x1 coupons would add up. We all (should) know they wouldn't. That's just stupid.

EDIT:
How would that make him bad with money, anyway? :f6:

I get the feeling that due to this, the patch was delayed to Feb. 6th.
(All the Legend events are to end on the first, Evo Ring event originally was going to end tomorrow, cash shop stuff ends tomorrow, Tespia isn't out)

Ok this is definitely false. If you go back a page or two, you can see I posted a ss of me on 11.7x (3x event + 2x cs card + hs + 1.3x legends buff) and I was still getting exp, both when I was in the same map as my party and when I was in a different map from them. 8x is not the current cap.
