Dear Maplers,

We will be performing an unscheduled servermaintenance on January 20, 2012 to modify the Daily Gear Giveaway event due to abuse. The maintenance will last approximately 3hours. During this period all game servers will be unavailable.

Let's not rollback glitched charm, everything is good as long as Satellite didn't realise the bug before completing the quest on his Aran.

you can glitch abuse rock paper scissors make mules get tons of scrolls and delete

MY F'UCKING RINGS.

Been trying to get lvl 1 ring for a while now, left laptop on, maple closes by itself for some reason, tried again later, maple closes for some reason.
Try a 3rd time 19 minutes to go- USC for an unimportant glitch. If it fixed metamorphosis or something else then that'd be fine but no, its cs related as usual.

Sooo why are the servers not down?

And dammit, I needed just 2 more minutes for my ring upgrade potion.

If anyone cares, you can use the NPC Rebuy option to get 11 Golden Statues and turn them in all at once for the 1% per statue.

i.e. Can You Resist can give to 12-ish% per half hour for literally no effort

I wonder if they'll remember this fix for future event quests =| considering stuff like that's been possible for so long w/ so many quests.

What a totally expected response.
Three hours to fix a glitch that didn't have any major repercussions outside of, theoretically, their wallets.
I say theoretically because anyone who blows NX to get Charm is outright insane and definitely in the minority.

My ring may have upgraded if they were late enough on taking the servers down, but this is exactly why I prefer the collect-o-thons.
