Unscheduled Maintenance - 01.11.2012

Nothing like a good old glitch to mess up the last part of the 'biggest update ever'.

i have a feeling they are gonna combine it with the cash shop maintenance....
start maybe an hour b4 cs maintenance and finish 1 hour after.

game never went down.... still waiting for them to post the new times ....

They've known about the problem for a few days.
They knew they don't have a fix ready.
They could not prevent the launch without a patch.
They decided to let it go as scheduled, pretending they don't know about the problem.
They had the notice ready-made to go up shortly after midnight, in order to garner compliments on how fast they respond.

Now we all wait for the smart boys in Korea to find a solution. Could be today, could take another few days, no rush.

We are aware of the issues preventing players from creating Demon Slayer characters. We will be performing an unscheduled server maintenance on January 11, 2012 to address the issues. The maintenance will last about 2 hours.

Meh. It's one per account and I already got it on my main for the Charm.
Do wish they had a 1nx sale on cosmetic coupons, though.

I bought one for every character I have on all my accounts.

I actually don't expect an extension on this one. Might even be early.
They got the patch from Korea. Presumably they tested it on a test client.
Now they apply it (i.e., copy to the patch server) and bring the servers back up.
Even if it does nothing, it's not like they can tweak it in LA. They'll have to re-send to Korea for a new fix. Meanwhile the game can be played as it has since midnight (assuming the patch doesn't break anything other than cutscenes).

Servers aint red anymore, so maybe it's almost done.

Some green and yellow, I guess it's gonna be done soon. Granted ^post is the same as this and that was 30 minutes ago. We'll see xD
