Golden Temple Open Entry

January 4 - January 10

The Golden Temple is back, and for the first time ever, you can enter as many times as you would like for free! Battle through the mini dungeons to obtain a a spectacular range of prizes, including enhanced EXP or an Epic Potential tier Ravana Helmet! The Golden Temple can be directly accessed through a Dimensional Mirror in most towns.

Dont forget about these other features of the Golden Temple:

• While in the Golden Temple, use the portals or talk to the NPC closest to a portal to select a mini dungeon.
  
• The mini-dungeons have a thirty minute timer.
  
• Characters level 70 and above can access the mirrored side of the temple, which has even more powerful monsters than the regular side! Use the yellow ring portal near Somchai to move between the regular and mirrored sides of the temple.
  

Looking for the ultimate Golden Temple treasure? Youre going to have to take on the boss monster himself the feared Ravana!

• To do so, you must collect five Sunbursts from the Goblins in the Golden Temple to enter the waiting room, and you must have a party of at least two other Maplers to start the fight. Each party member will need five Sunbursts to enter the waiting room.
  
• Be sure to use your Sunbursts quickly they will expire after a limited amount of time.
  
• You will have twenty minutes to beat Ravana after entering his chamber.
  
• Ravana has a chance to drop the rare Ravana Helmet! While this helmet is even rarer than before, it has a 100% chance to be of Epic Potential tier.

Not gonna lie, I'm liking Monkey forest.

getting around 2.9k exp per slaughtered monkey.

Well, I don't know about 140 weapons, but the mobs are dropping Maple Weapons. I picked up 6 Lv43 weapons in an hour at lv54 mobs.

They're sure beating this "Return of the Golden Temple" shtick to the ground pretty quickly.

In the time it takes you to get sunbursts as many times as needed to get Ravana to drop his helm, you could level the char to 90 and get a Scarlion hat.

4% versus 3% aint way better. But yea if you do not plan to spend any NX or mesos, it would be a little more convenient with the Ravana.

Also saying "A spectacular range of rewards including:" and then saying the only 2 things you can get of any worth.

I might be tempted to actually try and fight Ravana now, never tried before.

They intentionally put 140 weapons in an event requiring nx.

Since GT is free this time, its not likely that the 140 weapons are in golden temple.

Also, the pictured 140 cannon is odd since I've never seen one being mentioned in game.

4% versus 3% aint way better. But yea if you do not plan to spend any NX or mesos, it would be a little more convenient with the Ravana.

^What he said for the non-nx users. I don't have to cube a damn Scarlion hat and can just keep getting sunbursts until a good Ravana hat is achieved. Yes it's time consuming but I didn't spend a single cent of nx
