When I first saw it, I had quick chuckle. It looks funny, I want it as a pet .
As for the spider one that Ian posted, that thing looks like a mix between a spider, a mantis, and a slug.

Read a wiki article on it, apparently, people does eat it. I wonder if it would taste like bug, or lobster... or maybe both?

That, will scare you. Dude why did you have to bring up bad memories? I watched a video in my AP Bio class last year about a boy who had a fetus inside of him... They removed it and holy pomegranate it was scary and sick... I then had to eat lunch. *shudders*

Yeah, I think it's edible. I've seen something fairly similar to it when I was at a younger age. I didn't put that thing in my mouth though. :<
Is it the same as the thing we call in cantonese, the "peeing crab/lobster"? D:

Nope, not afraid of the big lice like lobster =D.
Just to let you guyz know, they're actually edible and they taste a bit like lobster =P. (Think they're called Balmian Beetles or something)
They're best when steamed
Ths spider image however freaked me off my chair, yes Im arachnaphobic  .
And it's true about huge spiders in Australia
