Pirates or CWK
#21
I couldn't care less about Pirates, but I am still excited to see them come to our version. The 5th class is a big thing to be missing. It's great GMS is finally getting it.

That said, however, I would still much rather get content that I can directly enjoy. Magatia is the thing I desire far more than anything else.

No, they still will... their touch goes to like 3.4, does it not? I won't have that for at least another 16-20 levels...

Also, it's only logical for the masters and the monsters inside to be even stronger Redface

CWK and/or Magatia. Pirates are a worthless class & over-hyped.

Bit of an extreme there, don't you think?

Pirates. I never really made a serious secondary (warrior/bowman to mage - great idea) and pirates seem like a very fun class. Unless there's some Zakum-type boss that gives out Timeless weapons or something like that, CWK just isn't too appealing at the moment. I just don't have much hope about them making training easier in any way with CWK, if CGs are any indication.

Pirates and CWK hold equal interest, but as many have said before, the keep basically screws with the ranged classes who can't take much damage. Such a drastic change from low 80's to the mid 80's.. 500 damages to 1500 damages isn't too friendly...

I at least have enough HP to take touch damage, but still have not enough to live a magic attack. Thus I'm more swayed to the Pirates way, where i'll make another character to play with =P (lol too many secondary characters- cleric, bandit, spearman, sin, you name it, i have it). I want to have the feeling of survivability once again xP

But i hope that the inside of cwk is accessible through other means, because at this point, the ranged classes have to be at least level 110 (maybe even higher.) to have that much HP without the use of nx hp washing.

Definitely higher, my unwashed 121 MM only has 3059 base HP, and I doubt normal equips would do much for that. (barring a +100 HP Deputy Star, which is still ~250 below the 3.4k touch damage mentioned above)

I suspect we'll get to use a hidden passageway to sneak past the Guardians, and the boss will hopefully be maybe level 110-120 doable if you have skill (i.e. you know not to touch him, and you get HB).

I'm more concerned about the weapons (Axe, Spear, Wand, for that matter the 2h sword I've never seen ingame) that Prose suggested would be coming out in the 2nd part. Yes pleaseGlitter

Pirates. None of my characters can go near Crimson Guardians. Frown

Neither. I would rather have Nexon actually fix up their broken game before trying to add new stuff, which they end up breaking anyways. (Stuff like the BM autobans, Pierce D/Cing, the Latanica map being permanently "in use", and this recent influx of heal hacking.)

Pirates. Of course, they'll screw over the economy and, truth be told, are probably overhyped. But I have a bunch of dex scrolls in my inventory that are just crawling to be sold at inflated prices!

CWK would be of no benefit to me. Hell, I haven't even been to the Crimsonwood Forest yet. There's nothing there that interests me. The Keep would probably be for high level characters, anyways.

Neither. Both Pirates and CWK suck. As well as a new server.

Bring on the Time Temple please!

Why is everyone assuming Crimsonwood Keep will only be accessible if you walk past guardians? Don't you think Nexon has thought of this?

I'm betting most/all of the monsters will be around the same level as Crismon Guardians or higher. So even if there is another way to get in...instant death from the monsters inside.

This is Nexon you know, right?

If they did thought about that, then I would still expect that they'll screw it up somehow. Perhaps they'll make a portal to get past the guardians, but then it does something stupid like triggers an autoban, sans Hak.

You realize that would make Crimsonwood Keep's interior the single strongest area in the game, right? No, I don't think it's going to be that high. There will probably be a lot of maps with existing crimsonwood monsters on them (perhaps in single-species maps since that seems to be one of the major complaints about Crimsonwood). That's not to say there won't be guardians inside, nor does it mean there won't be new strong monsters, but it's rather ridiculous to assume everything inside the Keep will be 120+.

Not to mention Crimsonwood Keep part 2 would mean more new awesome quests and equips :/
