Shadower is Shadower. The point is the Phantom class can essentially emulate any other class. Thanks to the skills the class can steal, the Phantom class can possibly outshine at what the original class can do. For example, if a Phantom can do what a Dark Knight can do, but just as good or BETTER, then what the hell is the point of the Dark Knight class in the first place? The Dark Knight is then out of a job thanks to a copycat class.

2. it's a THIEF class. the best thief should be able to STEAL anything

This. I can understand that it should be strong, such as Aran, Evan, and Mercedes are, but I find the whole idea of Phantom pretty stupid. The card-using idea is awesome, the skill stealing idea is retarded.

What'd be the alternative to skill stealing? My suggestion was to take a specific attribute of said class.

We can't really determine anything now unless Nexon sticks to something. What seems to be true is that new classes will be stronger then others..haha

i use to play different classes for the different playstyles involved, but now... look what they did with pirates

but now... look what they did with buccs

Changed that for you since...well, sairs didn't really get screwed over; in fact, I think they got a major boost in versatility and DPS. Buccs however...

I get that people like the Battleship, but since sairs might get it back as an exclusive mount, I guess that solves some of the problems.

Just a thought. If you steal lightning charge and chain lightning at 4th job, would the element bonus stack? Would be pretty great if it would. Or same with any charge and same element attack. Otherwise, personally doesn't look like a char im going to play. When this comes to GMS, believe me they screw things up and when you steal a skill, it is really stolen from the original char forever Haha
