Mine should be coming soon :3

Can't find my 3DS charger. It WAS on my bedroom floor but my mum's "cleaning" means it's gone from the face o' the universe.

Finally got Tales of the Abyss 3DS yesterday (it was released on the 25th but the store I pre-ordered at didn't get it yet). The game itself is awesome, the fact that it's portable is great and it plays really smoothly. The only problem I have is that I'm about 7 hours in now and I already managed to miss 2 of the sidequests (like with pretty much every other Tales game). So now I either have to remember everything or play while reading a guide, which isn't nearly as much fun (I really want some of those things on my first playtrough).

There's not really too much point in getting EVERY sidequest on your first playthrough anyway, since you'll essentially HAVE to do a newgame+ at least once in order to get EVERYTHING. And Side-quests reset when you do a new game+.
I've never done every side-quest in TotA even when it was on the PS2, and I've beaten it 6 times.
The side-quests don't offer much anyways.
It's mostly the Arte quests that I want to do. Some of them are missable and I don't want to have to look out for those again in another playtrough. That and if I don't do them the completionist inside me will freak out.

Just got to Belkend for the first time. It somehow took me 10 minutes of sailing around to find that place...

I sat there with the missable sidequest guide open the whole time I played it on PS2. That's not quite as easy with a handheld game, though.
According to the NoE spanish site, looks like the GBA games are delayed until next year >_>

"Disponibles a partir del próximo año."
I.e. dispensing the titles during the next year.

Ugh, nintendo >_>.

Bad enough they're making one of the games MK : super circuit giving after mario kart 3ds comes out, but they might not even finish them within the timeframe they set.
My GBA games. ;-;

I guess I know why I haven't bought a 3DS yet.
Money sink for everyone!
details on what exactly is in the upcoming update

 Spoiler
Mario Kart 7 is really fun, and i look foward to playing the online matches when i unlock stuff.

the sad part is if you've ever played a Mario Kart game before, the 50cc in this is stupidly boring. It might be labelled Easy but there is literally 0 challenge other than blue shells constantly.

Gonna be picking this up in the new year, is it worth it?

I thought SM3DL was pretty boring until I unlocked the Special Worlds, lol. Then the difficulty stepped up 5 notches.
Going and getting my Zelda theme 3DS tomorrow. Pumped.
Missed like 2 costume sidequests already. As a game designer/developer myself I really want to punch the person who decided it was a good idea not to have alternate methods to obtain those in the face.

Should be getting Mario Kart 7 in 3 days. Multiplayer will be awesome.

Welcome to the world of Tales. They never stand still and thus many, many things are missable. It is like that in every game.

Text Wrote:It has officially been confirmed from Nintendo, that they will continue to deliver the complete balance of free download game titles to members in its 3DS diplomat program before the end stages of the current year (4th quarter).
However, those who are U.S residents and purchased Nintendo 3DS before the cut-rate in August, have been promised free downloads of the GBA’s Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Metroid Fusion, Mario Vs. Donkey Kong, WarioWare Inc, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror (an astrophysical Kirby quest), and Super Mario Land 3: Yoshi’s Island. The company says that these titles will remain restricted to early-buying diplomats, whose remaining delights are left to be announced.
Additional Nintendo top-sellers included Golden Sun, Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past/Four Swords or Minish Cap, on the console. There’s also very less chances for Nintendo to lastly take this as a pretext to release Mother 3 in English-speaking countries, as a result getting rid of all these things will grab over the price fall. Cheers!
How long will the special edition Zelda 3DS be available for? :<
I probably won't be getting it until Christmas or so, due to lack of funds.
