Not necessarily. These packages usually include stuff like cubes, mushies, and gach tickets, that you can use now to prepare gear or funds for your future character(s).
Whether there's enough of it to make it worth the hefty package price (especially immediately after the recent sales) - that's an individual decision.

True that. But I'd personally prefer to have stuff which I can directly use on my new character (such as pets, NX clothes, etc.) instead. That won't happen 'till the release because of separate Cash Shops.

That's why this is a "preparation" package and not a "welcome" package.
I'm sure we'll get some of those with the actual class releases...

What's wrong with the monkey doll quest?

Takes me 45min with 1.2x drop.

40 minutes on 1x drop here...make sure you're hunting monsters within the proper level range as indicated by the quest.

Takes me 45-60 minutes with Big Spider helping drop rate.

And on KMS it takes less than a minute...so yeah somethings wrong with our drop rate.

Our events aren't always exact copies of KMS'.
In KMS you can't get pirate map pieces from mobs not around your level. Nor boxes from wrong-leveled Eregos and Pirate King. Should that be fixed too?

I see nothing inherently wrong with a daily quest that takes under an hour to complete while training (unless you're over ~135 and normally train in LHC... then you must venture out to Leafre or ToT), especially when the event period has plenty of spare days. We've had worse before (The Alien event dailies come to mind).

When the Event is repeatable every 10 minutes, one expects to complete the quest well under 10 minutes...and not taking 6x or more longer than that.

This. This is how the sundae (beat the heat?) event and the treasure map event worked in G/KMS, as well as the monkey doll quest in KMS. And since you can use 100 of the bananas on a character, I don't think it was intentional for you to have to spend 100 hours farming the event just to get 5-10 levels worth of exp for a lvl 100- character. (I'm assuming they work the same as the well water since I haven't used my only banana)

Droprate just seems to fluctuate a ton... I got 30 dolls in 10 minutes on my XBow one day, then the next day it took half an hour at the same mob.


The exp you get in level 4x is useless, it's 413 exp per banana which is the same as 4 mobs, or something like 0.4% exp. The only character I've seen get more than 0.5% exp was my 103 Aran, which got about 1.2%. Well waters are 10% each below 50, 5% each at 50-100, which is quite a bit better.

Wow, so they're harder to get than well water and far worse. Nothing like levelling an alt at a rate of 1.2% / hr!

Interestingly (or not) I'm unable to go to Golden Temple, even though it still appears in the Dimensional Mirror. Picking it does nothing.
Might be because I have no cash shop GT tickets in my inventory.
Expect much rage if it blocks people who did pay for tickets.

It was suposed to be a bug the dissapering NX... checked my historial and I didn't sold any NX in the last month... I has 5 K and now they're gone...

Anyways I sent a ticket aabout the issue...
