Wait, what?
"higher chance to add an extra potential"? Does that mean regular cubes might add an extra line too? And where did the 25% go?
Me no like this new vague description.

It's either Nexon:
A: Not knowing their own game/products
B: Intentionally misleading people

Sucks either way.

Also, I just noticed the new Couple Snow Dome ring does not specify "only for one male and one female character". On the other hand, it also doesn't say you specify your "other half" when you buy the ring. So maybe it's more like that half-heart Amoria chair than a proper couple's ring, in that it will pop up a dome with anyone that has the same ring.
Anybody care to try? At over 8k NX (each?) it's a bit pricey...

That isn't vague at all nor new by potential it is referring to lines of potential. You should read the whole thing before jumping to conclusions.

I think they kept that same description for a while now. Ascension package also had this same vague description.

It's a wonder how Nexon can run a game when they actually know so little about it.

I don't know mate. If I were a new player and I read that, I would jump to the conclusion that regular Miracle Cubes added extra lines as well.

Androids don't have ring slots, as far as I know.

And if you decide to act like a normal person who knows how to read you would continue reading to the next sentence which would dispel any confusion you might have had after that first sentence. A freaking kindergartner would be able to figure that out

Huh? The next sentence says 3 is the maximum. It doesn't say anything about regular miracle cubes not being able to take you from 2 to 3.

Logical people would assume they don't logical people would assume that's why they are called "Premium" cubes. Can it really be this hard for you to wrap around your skull.

Read to understand people don't just read.

I think by "logical people" you mean "people who already know". But they don't need the description in this notice at all.
Consider a new maplestory player, or one who returns after a long hiatus because they heard of those godly new classes. He knows next to nothing about about cubes or potential. The description tells him "Premium have a higher chance than regular to blahblah". What clue does he have that the chance of regulars to blahblah is 0?

>premium
>higher chance.

that sounds premium, any newb would understand it like "oh, so regular cubes can add lines, and miracle cubes can add them faster! so easy!"

i suggest you follow your own advice. and maybe the "couple" snow dome is a friendship ring? would be weird though.

Didn't see that my mistake then I wouldn't expect a newer person to understand that then. Still doesn't explain why the hell your confused about it but hey.

Here a person sees this and says oh wow this cube not only does what a normal cube does which is resets the potential but also has a chance to increase the amount of potential.

It says "has a higher chance" and not "has a chance". Big, huge, difference.

Going to ask my 4-year-old niece next time I see her, if I tell her "Bob has more candy than Alice", does Alice have any candy?
I think she, like any normal human being, would say, "of course".
It would take a smart-alec mathematician, or a Nexon lawyer, to say, "maybe".

How about you go with your logic and ask 20 of your classmates how they comprehend the description of these two items?

---

That's it for that, not going to revisit this particular "discussion".

What worries me more is that the number 25% no longer appears anywhere. Premium cubes can now be 10% or 5% or even 1% to increase the number of lines... and nobody told us.

Aren't we supposed to be getting the line-upgrade-stamp-things with legend?

Ideally, yes. Premium cubes are such a good revenue source compared to the stamps though so it'll be really hard to imagine NexonAM coming out with both.
