After the hype is gone

I would think the same, but I'm surprised how long I've been sticking to the Bowman, so... 25%.

I voted 75%. Most people in Maple don't have any real tactical strategies and likes spamming one skill.
I love combinations and Gunslingers basically have it all in one class. I'm more than 99% sure, I'm going to keep my pirate as my main. All the others bore me too quickly (Cept for Crusader and Bandit because they have a lot of usable moves). It may be because I love RPGs and Fire Emblem but I love coming up with tactics to help out in any situation. Pirates have that tactical charm (Especially Gunslingers) so I'm keeping mine.

I'm waiting for all the damage whores who need to lots of high dmg to think they're strong and make gunslingers to see the low damage per hit but high DPS and quit.

Gunslingers don't really get good until 3rd with triple fire. To me, it feels like being an F/P since they suck pretty much until 3rd, disregarding PB that came into utilization a year or 2 ago.

I'll just wait until the hype goes down and then create one. I just don't want to feel like I'm part of the ZOMGWEARESOCOOLITSANEWCLASS gang. I'll observe them and decide when to take the plunge.

I think about 75% will quit, because a lot just make one to check out, others make one but they won't get pas lvl50, and people like me who are -sort of- determined to get high level(the highest I ever reached was lvl67 though, but thats because grinding as a Bandit is VERY boring) and might reach "the top".
The hype will last till January MAX, because most people see that's it different from what they thought, and they stop, crying because they sold all the equips of their mains!

I'm going to get to at least 90 on the gunslinger. Then depending on how I like it I might take it to 4th job or just continue my Hero.

Guarantee you at least half of them will quit... they only want to try a new class that they think is 'impervious' or more stronger than the previous classes. Oh yay, you get some weird as kung-fu skills or the ability to FJ-backwards (with a delay), let's see how long you all last. I'll apologize if any of them can make it past 180.

Well, I won't end up quitting my Brawler. I sold everything I own in Bellocan, made around 500m. Bought Pirate equips and I'm transfering them over to Khaini. If I end up quitting him, I'd either play my Warrior I made or quit the game all together. =[

well I'm finished with my Bowmaster's max SE. I'll be bossing (i.e. Zak/papu) on it for money. Then i'll make me an infighter, not because of the damage, but because of the HP. I'll be happy when i can take 2+ hits from a newtie before i use a potion xD

I have characters and names pre-made but I am going to wait till December to start them (and only then to get some gelts)
So....
I guess technically I'll have "quit" my pirate til around February ... (after I have a 130+ bishop)
And then depending on how I like them...
I'll level either my-Brawler-Gunslinger-Bandit-Sniper-F/P-Hero-Dk
...
But Imma finish my Bishop first

I reckon some people would eventually quit their pirates but most would continue due to their unique skills involved in hunting.

Most likely people are attracted to brawler due to time leap and wind booster/speed infusion. Gunslingers have no party skills at all except for MW but everyone has that. The upside to them is they get the highest DPS I believe. Not sure if it changes if apples are involved but I know BMs were the best but Corsairs are now.

bm have horrible average damage. the hierarchy is something like
NL > Hero > MM > BM > everyone else

I would have thought Heros have the best maximum dps now, with lunchboxes. not sure though, lazy to do the math.

I think that alot cheif bandits will make brawlers, and have fun with that, cause of pro combo classes ;D I would think nearly everyone who plays maplestory is going to try pirates, probably 90%+. I doubt that many would get past second job though, or that everyone would continue playing them. So I voted 75%+.
