KMST 1.2.409 - Thief/Pirate Revamp
JoeTang Wrote:Splitting routes generates less money and is less interesting than new classes. For example, if Outlaws have two routes in 3rd job, it would mean a person would need to create two Gunslingers and level them to high 3rd job to play both routes. If they invested those ideas into a completely new character, a person would make one Gunslinger, and one new character. What sounds more profitable? Recycling the 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th job of existing characters into a new route with two or three different skills that share cash inventories, or creating a brand new character with different ideas that people haven't tried to death yet with its exclusive cash inventory?

It was not an idea to replace releasing new classes , its an idea to not destroy a class , many people are unhappy with the latest pirate thief updates , the route idea was a way to save a class from the mass change as they did in this update <<< This thread is about the thief pirate revamp that why i mentioned it.

Also about profit they can always add Full SP reset for a decent price in CS , i doubt people bother buying the current 1 sp reset or ap reset in the CS o.o. (routes means some people want to change their build , and a full sp reset with a decent price means profit.

What Joe's probably trying to get at is that spending resources to create multiple routes in existing jobs (alongside new jobs) would not earn them as much revenue as focusing solely on new jobs, which have exclusive cash inventories.

2 months is a long time to go with shitty skills.
This is more "Create a class after a revamp, love it, play it to 1xx, realize you hate it, wat do?"

It'd also be boring as pineapple to level a character to a certain job level, pick a route, and then create a new character to pick the other route.

Well, I'm really disappointed. Only thing to do now is train my pirate to 4th job before this bullshit comes into play & violating my memories. Sad

Wait, which one?
It's "died" at least a dozen times now.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

Where do you people get your information, insoya?

... I really need to learn Korean...

Just find a KMS forum and google translate everything. it's not 100% accurate, but you get the gist of it I guess o_o

I thought it was common knowledge for why KMS didn't like Buccaneers.

You realize "True Old MapleStory" died when Pirates came out, right?

maplestory legally died when the invention of Dexless Sins was released, and people started playing for power.

We're getting OSSY!

EDIT: I unpacked the beta client a long time ago. Turns out Ossyria was already in there. You just couldn't travel there. Scumbag Nexon.

That's when the community died.

IDK if this was mentioned already, but how viable are UA thieves now after this revamp? Vampire hits for 360% dmg, which is more than steal, can it seems to be a star attack that's effected by mastery unlike the hermits new mobbing skill and IT HEALS (very little, but it's something I gues), but IDK its delay.

Died when 3rd job came out, hell actually it probably died when it stopped being Beta.

The last ~6 years have been reviving the corpse to shoot it again obv.

Maplestory died as soon as Cash Shop was released.

Yes but we got Omok then so your point is irrelevant.
Everyone knows Omok is the lifeblood of Maplestory.

There seems to be no consensus on when Maplestory died. Let's just say it's always been dead.
