The point of it is that Greed not only affects Pickpocket but ME, MG and Drop Rate as well. Maybe Nexon thought that without it increasing ME and PP people wouldn't max Greed merely for MG and Drop Rate. Either way I think Greed is good there. The two main things I hate are the new Assaulter and deleting BoT. That's just wrong.

Gotta disagree on all. You can buff the damage in everything else instead of shadow partner. Because shadow partner is just raw damage added. About drain, the way the new mob skill works, it'd be better to have something like vampire... But we already do! If you do the cygnus quests. And assasinate buffs shadowers with those orbs, while NLs get quadruple throw... and 70% mastery with it.

Nah, I think those aren't the main concerns.

Shadowers should play somewhat like assassinate/boomerang step/than assaulter. You would continue to add assassinate till you would get max orbs. Then boomerang step/ assaulter. I think assassinate also power ups buffs as well. Not to sure on that.

Buff Buccaners DMG Um. Not everything is about damage. If you have a class with an ultimate without cooldown but it's boring as hell to play and everything looks like pomegranate then it's still awful. Anyhow, they already buffed several classes' damage but they obviously had no idea how to do it. Just changing percentages doesn't do much.
Buff Corsairs Dmg See what I posted above. They've also got quite decent damage now, as have buccs.

isn't the new assaulter better considering that u can use ur other attacks to stack up assaulter points and then use assaulter instead of waiting in dark sight for a few seconds?

People are QQ because assaulter was moved from a mobility skill to a rush skill. It is kind of redundant since we have flash jump now.

I was mainly talking about the skills themselves. The damage does have me worried a bit, but going by that video, I don't really care. The skill animations look like someone was plantaining around with a private server, taking images from other classes and replacing skill animations on one class with the other ones. It looks so out of place and terrible...


Plus, the sound on the main 1v1 skill now is TERRIBLE. There's such a bad delay on the punching sound as opposed to the animation itself... It doesn't fit at all.

the damage isnt the problem. its the animations/ designs of the skills and the lack of invincibility frames

1. You're thinking about Assasinate.
Assassinate =/= Assaulter
2. I don't think you understand how assassinate points work.
They don't affect assassinates damage.
Using assassinate BUILDS up assassinate points, which buff other skills(only one I know of right now is that the one that gives 20 att gives more attack if you have more assassinate points.)

Also, the new assaulter would be a lot more useful at LHC/Monster park.
Rushing these mobs into a corner to meso bomb them would be better than what we do now.

oh yeah the animation is a bit iffy, but then the only way to really make this better is either make the punches smaller, or give buc a hurricane-like fist because the animation accurately represented "fist fighting"

Assassination gets powered up by meso explosion as far as i know. It isn't meant for bossing other than powering up your skills.

So... assassinate points don't affect assassinate at all? ME, 3rd job savage blow and assassinate all give points and these points are only good to make the 4th job version of a 2nd job skill we got slightly better? Did I get that right? And does anybody know how many points it's supposed to max out at? Those 3rd job skills seem to give a lot. Like the smokescreen effect, not really feeling that glittery purple crystal wall it makes though. Sucks they took out chakra too :T

It's not that, it's the way the skill is used, especially now that BoT is gone. You rush all these enemies into a group, and then... what? Meso Explosion is the only other mobbing move for 3rd job, and Steal is impractical. From something that was improved several times to help you do damage while avoiding getting hit into a clunky (and imo, unnessecary) rush move that shoves a bunch of enemies into your landing destination, it should be obvious why people are upset with this change.
The teleporting, the stuns, and the def pierce - all at once - is what made Assaulter such a good skill.

uhh.. they could, you know, remove the stupid Super transform sprite out of all the attacks since they add nothing but clutter to the damned screen. Honestly I'd be more ok with this if the animations didn't look like they were thrown together in a half assed fashion. Oh we took away their transformation, but we decided that it was cool so we put your transformation inside your skill so that you can still see what is the exact remnants of what you thought your class was all about and cry everytime you use the skills.

Rush on a Shad seems redundant o_O Very interested in the assassination point system though.

How's Steal impractical? =S it's a simple mob move that goes in a straight line in front of you, would be perfect to use until you get a lot of mesos all over the ground for ME.
