Cannoneer Welcome Party

November 16 - November 30

The Cannoneer's legendary moment is almost here! Support this pirate and his trusty monkey in their quest for fame and glory by "Liking" the MapleStory Facebook page!

If the MapleStory Facebook page reaches 700,000 Likes by November 30, we will host an 8-hour 2x EXP and drop weekend on December 3 and 4 to get your characters ready to welcome the Cannoneer to Maple World. As a bonus,you will also be able receive an exclusive decorative item if you reach level 10 as a Cannoneer by December 9.

Legends is set to arrive in global MapleStory soon, and we need your help to get the word out there about the update! Let your friends know that MapleStory Legends is coming by changing your Facebook profile picture.

How do I join in?

1. Go to MapleStory's Facebook page.


2. Grab the Cannoneer profile image and update your own profile with it.


3. Comment on any of our Facebook posts!

Find the Treasure Map

November 16 - November 29

• Requirement: Lv.13 or higher
  
• The Treasure Map Book event quest will appear through the star icon on the left side of the screen.
  
• After accepting this quest you will receive the Pirate Treasure Map Book in the ETC tab of your inventory. Double-click this item to check your progress.
  
• After completing the Treasure Map Book event quest, the Find the Treasure Map event quest will appear through the star icon on the left side of the screen.
  
• After accepting the Find the Treasure Map quest, monsters that are around your level will have a chance to drop Pirate Kings Treasure Map pieces.
  
• Collect all six types of the Pirate Kings Treasure Map pieces and return them to Gaga to complete the quest.
  
• This quest can be repeated every ten minutes.
  
• Upon completing the quest, you can obtain the Mimir's Well Water for Cannoneers. When consumed by a Cannoneer, their EXP will increase as follows:
  10% before Lv.50
  5% from Lv.50-99
  
• Mimir's Well Water can't be consumed at Lv.100 or higher, you can't consume more than 100 of them, and they can't be used after December 20th. It can only be moved between your characters in a world, and it can only be used by Cannoneers.
  
• Rewards are received on the first, third, fifth, and seventh days when the quest is completed.
  Treasure Map Hunt Day 1: Power Elixir x 20
  Treasure Map Hunt Day 3: Continental Return Scroll x 3, Power Elixir x 30
  Treasure Map Hunt Day 5: Scroll for Hand Cannon for ATT 65% x 3, Power Elixir x 50
  Treasure Map Hunt Day 7: Legendary Gilded Giant

Gagas New Business

November 23 - December 6

<ul>Requirement: Lv.13 or higher
The Gagas New Business event quest will appear through the star icon on the left side of the screen.
After accepting this quest you will receive the Monkey Doll Recovery Record in the ETC tab of your inventory. Double-click this item to check your progress.
After accepting the Gagas New Business quest, the Find My Monkey Dolls event quest will appear through the star icon on the left side of the screen.
After accepting the Find My Monkey Dolls quest, monsters that are around your level will have a chance to drop a Monkey Doll.
Collect 30 Monkey Dolls and return them to Gaga to complete the quest.
This quest can be repeated every ten minutes.
Upon completing the quest, you can obtain the Mimir's Well Water for Cannoneers. When consumed by a Cannoneer, their EXP will increase as follows:
10% before Lv.50

Haha. That is so not worth the embarrassment.

Well it seems to get 100 of those potion things (which level you up either 10 times under 50 or 5 times over 50) you have to do this quest for a little under 17 hours.

Worth it? I dunno. I'm doing this to hell and back over thanksgiving though.

Oh, look. Another facebook event that will be worthless.
And as a bonus, we get embarrassed by having a guy with a bazooka and a monkey as our profile picture.

If it's any consolation, there will be so much downtime that we'll have basically permanent 2x anyway.

4 hours per day of 2x, or 8 hours per day? The wording sounds like 8 in total over the weekend, but I can never be sure with Nexon. Wonder how high I can get my Dark Knight in that time!

Do you remember what low-level training grounds were like when the resistance came out? Now imagine that combined with the normal 2x crowding.

Lol pimp cannoneer winking his eye at us. Just for that I prefer it over anime Mercedes and DS.

I would be excited if it wasn't because I expect so many bugs coming out with these patches.
