Character not showing in character select screen, but still exists

So when I went to log in after the SC I saw that my F/P is not there anymore, but it still shows as offline in the Guild and appears on the rankings as well.
I don't think I was hacked because all the stuff on my other characters on my account is still there, and I had some valuables and money dispersed through them.
Also my character is not able to be deleted because I had destroyed the ring, making divorce impossible.
I am confused and scared.

Did you try checking with the view all characters thing?

Just saw a smega with the same complaint. Weird

That's odd... Maybe the login server went down while you were logging in causing it to only load part of your character list?

Well I didn't try logging in until 11:15, and the servers came up at 10:20, so that shouldn't be the problem.

Looks like the common factor in the deleted characters is they competed the lunar dew quest

I completed the Lunar Dew quest, many months ago. Character is not missing.

I think it only affects players that were in the process of doing the quests, not after completing them all. (i.e Lvl 1-4 of the Cygnus Skill, not Lvl 5)

I meant the quests that actually give the skill, not the Dew portion of it, because if you read that thread the people that were affected had at least Lvl 1 of the skill but didn't have it maxed.

Seems the ones deleted are those who deleted their Knight of Cygnus after getting the UA skill.

Nexon apparently doesn't know how to find the fake UAs from the hack, so they deleted all chars with UA skills and no Cygnus on the account.

We did expect them to royally foul up any attempt to delete the fake UAs, didn't we? They always outdo all our expectations.

Nope. What you see in my avatar is what it has.

I rather expect an emergency maintenance shortly. -Hime- is actually on their forums and posting in the thread about this issue, so someone at Nexon is aware of it, at least.
I wonder why they deleted the "offending" chars instead of banning the accounts.
Wonder whether they'll attempt to restore the deleted characters (messing up something else in the process, no doubt), or roll back to before the maintenance.

I think a roll back would be the safest thing to do. The game's only been up for two hours and not a whole lot can happen in two hours.

It's not all characters that did the Cygnus skill quests that got deleted. My NL with lvl 1 vamp and my wifes DrK with lvl 1 driver are still there.
